When I was a teenager, I was really into racing electric RC cars. My favorite was the JRX Pro by Losi. That thing was fast, easy to drive, and I achieved a lot of hard-fought second-place finishes with it. It was purple, with green splotches, and powered by (you guessed it) a 6-cell Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cad) battery. Ahh, youth.
